Endoscopy

Open Access Endoscopy at Ringwood Private Hospital offers an efficient, prompt and comprehensive endoscopy service (colonoscopy and/or gastroscopy) with an experienced specialist doctor. A referral from a GP is required.

General Practitioners will determine the eligibility of the patient to undergo an open access endoscopy procedure.

Surgery

Ringwood Private Hospital offers a range of surgery options for patients requiring simple procedures through to complex surgeries across many specialty areas.

Our Day Procedure Unit contributes to the provision of support and expert care to patients who are undergoing a wide variety of minor surgical or medical procedures or diagnostic tests.

The unit is specifically for patients who do not require an extended stay in our hospital, usually enabling them to return home shortly after their procedure.

More complex surgical procedures require multi-day stay where the admitting specialist doctor and nurses may care for patients to a point of adequate recovery.

Multi-day surgical procedures includes, breast, colorectal, ear nose & throat, general surgeries, oral & maxillofacial, orthopaedic, paediatric, plastic & reconstructive, respiratory, urology, uro-gynaecology and vascular surgeries.
