Visitors or patients are not permitted to bring alcohol into the hospital. Alcohol can have significant adverse effects when combined with medications.
A patient’s diet whilst they are in hospital is related to their clinical condition and/or their stage of recovery, it is aimed to aid their path to a full recovery. For this reason any food brought by visitors should only be consumed in consultation with nursing staff.
Ringwood Private Hospital is smoke free.

Our multi-storey car park provides extended parking facilities close to all hospital services.
There are five-minute drop off parks at the front of the hospital for your convenience.
The nearest train station (Ringwood East) is situated on the Lilydale line at Ringwood East, approximately one kilometre from the hospital.
Reception staff will arrange taxi if required.
Our patients, staff and doctors are our priority, and to minimise the risk of exposure to COVID-19, access will be restricted and all visitors screened. Restriction of visitors is important
Visits will be limited to one nominated person per day, for no more than 1 hour. Social distancing must be observed when visiting.
Children under the age of 16 are not currently permitted to visit.
In the interest of patient, visitor and staff safety, we ask that visitor remain in the patient room during this time.
Visiting hours are currently 4pm to 5pm Monday to Sunday.
In special cases, visitors will be permitted out of hours in consultation with the Nurse Unit Manager.
8am to 7pm Monday to Friday
9am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday
9am to 12pm on Public Holidays
830am to 5pm Monday to Friday
