Ringwood Private Hospital visiting conditions:
Visiting hours are:
- 11.00am to 1.00pm & 3.30pm to 6.00pm
- A maximum of 2 visitors are permitted at any one time during visiting hours
- All visitors must be double vaccinated, as a minimum
Visitors are able to attend outside the above-mentioned visiting hours only if they are:
- The parents, guardians or carers for a patient under the age of 18
- Providing end-of-life support
We continue to encourage visitors to telephone patients via the hospital switchboard or the patient’s direct line outside of the visiting hours. Our friendly staff will support patients who need help using a device to keep in touch with family and friends.

Reception Hours
8am to 7pm Monday to Friday
9am to 12pm Saturday and Sunday
9am to 12pm on Public Holidays
Consulting Suites
8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Closed on Weekends and Public Holidays
Alcohol
Visitors or patients are not permitted to bring alcohol into the hospital. Alcohol can have significant adverse effects when combined with medications.
Food
A patient’s diet whilst they are in hospital is related to their clinical condition and/or their stage of recovery, it is aimed to aid their path to a full recovery. For this reason any food brought by visitors should only be consumed in consultation with nursing staff.
Smoking
Ringwood Private Hospital is smoke free.

Our multi-storey car park provides extended parking facilities close to all hospital services.
There are five-minute drop off parks at the front of the hospital for your convenience.
The nearest train station (Ringwood East) is situated on the Lilydale line at Ringwood East, approximately one kilometre from the hospital.
Reception staff will arrange taxi if required.
