Visitors or patients are not permitted to bring alcohol into the hospital. Alcohol can have significant adverse effects when combined with medications.
A patient’s diet whilst they are in hospital is related to their clinical condition and/or their stage of recovery, it is aimed to aid their path to a full recovery. For this reason any food brought by visitors should only be consumed in consultation with nursing staff.
Ringwood Private Hospital is smoke free.

Our multi-storey car park provides extended parking facilities close to all hospital services.
There are five-minute drop off parks at the front of the hospital for your convenience.
The nearest train station (Ringwood East) is situated on the Lilydale line at Ringwood East, approximately one kilometre from the hospital.
Reception staff will arrange taxi if required.
We are now only having 2 visitor between the hours of 4pm and 6pm.
Our patients, staff and doctors are our priority and to minimise the risk of exposure to COVID-19, we are currently limiting our patient visitors to 2 nominated visitor per patient.
These measures are being taken to protect our patients, staff and specialists.
During this time we encourage you to phone or video call your relative/friend frequently to keep in touch.
In special cases, additional visitors will be permitted however this is in consultation with the Nurse Unit Manager.

8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
