Visitors or patients are not permitted to bring alcohol into the hospital. Alcohol can have significant adverse effects when combined with medications.
A patient’s diet whilst they are in hospital is related to their clinical condition and/or their stage of recovery, it is aimed to aid their path to a full recovery. For this reason any food brought by visitors should only be consumed in consultation with nursing staff.
Ringwood Private Hospital is smoke free.

Our multi-storey car park provides extended parking facilities close to all hospital services.
There are five-minute drop off parks at the front of the hospital for your convenience.
The nearest train station (Ringwood East) is situated on the Lilydale line at Ringwood East, approximately one kilometre from the hospital.
Reception staff will arrange taxi if required.

In response to the current COVID-19 outbreak in Victoria, unfortunately we are not accepting visitors at our hospital until further notice, unless under exceptional circumstances*.
We apologise for the inconvenience and hardship this may cause, but appreciate your understanding the need to keep patients as safe as possible during these challenging times.
Please contact your loved ones by telephone or device, and our friendly staff will support and encourage regular digital drop-ins so you can keep in touch.
